3.13.11 Spring Forward.

Think of a situation that is stressful or difficult for you. Maybe its an issue at work, in a relationship, or with a family member. Really feel the emotions as your thoughts fill your head of the uneasy and negative episode. Today we are peaceful warriors and have the opportunity to see things in a new light. Today we spring forward. Let us celebrate growth and use today as a springboard for more positive days ahead. So, again, feel the difficult situation that clouds your mind. See if you can find a new light, a new gift from this pain. Maybe you can even mentally thank the person or situation for allowing you this opportunity for growth.
Sequence: Sukhasana (easy seat) for centering and reading, Urdhva Baddhanguliyasana (upward bound hands pose), cross arm "t" pose, "rip the belt" shoulder opener, table, cat/cow, table balance, Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward facing dog) - lunge 2x ea side, Uttanasana (standing forward bend) - Ardha Uttanasana (halfway standing forward bend), Surya Namasakara (sun salutations) with lunge and Ashtangasana (eight pointed pose) 2x, Tadasana (mountain pose) - star - goddess - archer vinyasa 2x, Prasarita Padottanasana (wide legged forward bend) 2x, Virabhadrasana (warrior) I > II > I > III > I > wide Uttanasana - Malasana (squat pose) 3x. Dandasana (staff pose), Paschimottanasana (west back stretch), Janu Sirsasana (head to knee pose), Pavrtti Janu Sirsasana (revolved head to knee pose), Marichyasana I (sage twist), foot massage, ankle circles, hip cradle/circles, Baddha Konasana (bound angle pose), Apanasana (supine knees to chest pose), Savasana (corpse pose) with guided relaxation. Played the heart chakra crystal singing bowl coming out of Savasana.
