5.15.11 Satchidananda
at Starseed Yoga and Wellness of Montclair, NJ
"Stay away from anything that will disturb you. All Yoga practices deal with the mind. It is the mind that is creating all your troubles. You can train it and use it to your own higher advantage - that is why it was given to you. And you can achieve this by the practice of Yoga anywhere and everywhere. Ultimately, you must find that peace everywhere. You don't have to talk about it; just do it, live it. The real Sat-Chid-Ananda exists within every human being. The goal is to realize that Self, realize that peace, joy, and love; realize that light - all different names and forms for the same experience."
"All I teach is that you learn to be selfless. Your life can be a beautiful fruit for all of humanity to enjoy. You can retain the God who is already in you as the form of peace. And when you shine with peace, you expose to that light not only yourself, but other people as well. Let people see something beautiful in you, something genuine in you. Let God be born in you."
- H.H. Sri Swami Satchidananda To Know Your Self p. 293
